Digital Tachograph Training

First introduced in May 2006, Digital Tachograph was brought in as a safer, efficient and more cost-effective alternative to analogue tachographs. Despite being around for this long, there are still drivers operating vehicles fitted with a Digital Tachograph who have yet to undergo any form of training with regards to how the Digital Tachograph operates.

Under the Health and Safety at Work Act, all employers have a legal obligation to ensure that they provide suitable, sufficient and regular training to their employees, with regards to any equipment they are required to operate as part of their daily work routine.
