Hawthorn Training Services offers a range of training courses for people currently operating or looking to operate various Manual Handling Equipment. Whether you are just starting a career in the logistics, construction, or warehousing industries, or you are an experienced individual looking to renew, refresh existing qualifications, our courses will help you gain both theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of safe and effective MEWP operation.

All our MEWP courses are available as either In-House or Nationally accredited qualifications, what is the difference? An In-House qualification, such as a training certificate will only permit the operator to operate the MEWP on their employer’s premises, a Nationally accredited qualification, such as an IPAF card licence will allow the operator to operate the MEWP outside of their own employer’s premises.

IPAF 3A & 3B (Self Propelled Scissor Lift & Self-Propelled Cherry Picker)

This two-category course consists of:

IPAF 3A – Mobile Vertical (Self Propelled Scissor Lift)

IPAF 3B – Mobile Boom (Self Propelled Boom/Cherry Picker)

 

 

What is included?

Access Platforms, Training manuals

Certificates, Photos and Operator Cards are all included in the cost

Candidates will be required to bring with them their PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

 

How long is the course?

The IPAF (Booms, Lifts & Platforms) is a One-Day training course. We ask all trainees to be on site for 08:00.
The course will start shortly after and normally finishes between 16:00 & 16:30.

 

Where is training held?

Training can be delivered either on-site at the customer’s premises, or off-site at premises situated on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.
