The Mineral Products Connect Card is a qualification specifically designed for drivers operating vehicles usually associated with the quarrying industry, including Tippers, Tankers and Truck-mixers amongst others.

The MP Connect Card has previously been known as the MPQC Driver Skills Card, this card was originally introduced by Mineral Products Qualification Council, and delivered by MP Skills, the training division setup by MPQC to deliver qualifications and courses designed by them. The MP Connect card is more commonly known throughout the quarrying industry as the EPIC Card.

The aim of the Connect Card is to give drivers an overview of the various safe operating procedures involved with collecting and delivering loads within a quarry environment, including Safe Driving and Site Safety amongst others. All drivers that need the Connect Card for entry to a quarry site are required to complete a One Day Site Safety Awareness and Behaviour course, upon successful completion of the course drivers will be issued with the Connect Card and will also get 7 hours uploaded against their Drivers CPC Periodic training record.
